Title: 11/18/05 UPGRAD
Post by ACCUSEAL on 12/27/05 at 09:05:39

I finally got around to the 11/18 upgrade.  I came in early so no one was on.  I ran upgrade per instructions and the help menu says the upgrade is done.  Now I have a problem when we issue materials in WO-G.  It tells us that the material on-hand will go negative, even though there is plenty on hand...then the error message comes up "BKICLOC record is not for part/location being posted(/   )."  I have no clue what to do.  Help!!!  I have run the UT-K-E thinking that somehow location got screwed up but that did not help.  Tried Recalc Inventory balances thinking maybe the wires were crossed there as the issue screen does show the correct inventory on hand.  I am at a total loss now!!!  :'( :'( :'(  HELP!!!!!!

Check out the thread "WO Issue Error " in Manufacturing.  The problem has been fixed;  When did you download the update?  I think it was fixed about 12/8 so if you downloaded before then you don't have the fix.

Thanks but I just downloaded it this morning.  I am guessing the fix is not there.  I have a call into Lynn but she is not answering, so I guess I will have to wait unless you have the fix?

Yes I have the fix - it is BKWOG.zip which unzips to BKWOG.RUN, dated 12/8/05.  I am surprized that I don't find it in the 11/18 fix dated 12/13.  Anyway, I will send it to you if you can let me know your email.

Thanks, my e-mail is Lindam@accu-seal.com.  I almost always wait awhile before downloading the latest upgrades as it seems there is always a correction later.  I guess I still didn't wait long enough.  Do you know how I would fix BKGLR.B which I got when I ran the check file integrety report?  I am trying to prepare for year end and run all utilities so when I put my inventory quantites in after my physical everything is starting out right.

I downloaded the latest 11/18 fix and the BKWOG file is in there with the date 12/8.  I haven't installed this whole update fix yet, because I had already installed the new BKWOG file when this came out.  Supposedly as files are fixed they are included in the total update file so anyone downloading the 11/18 update will get the fixed file, but since accuseal just downloaded it and had the old file, I quess it only got put in the 11/18 update fix which I think has the date of 12/13.  I think the link to the latest fix is in the Repeatable problems, can't remember which entry even though I think it was started by me!
I'll post this then come back with the link.

Getting ready to do a New Year update with the 2006 payroll tables and that will also come with a link to a web page that will be maintained with the patch status.
