Wondering if delete payroll history is the menu item I need?

Here is what I am trying to accomplish:

I would like to delete the payroll history but I do not want it to affect the ledgers or the financials in any way.

clearblue, I am no expert, but I think that would be safe to do. The payroll history file is completely separate from the GL files.
