Title: Re: error during menu creation Post by timgolds on 02/28/06 at 12:10:30 OK Think I found a bug!!! Has an access code called Sales under TAS-G. The I created the sales users and copied their access from Sales. These were the users getting the error message. Deleted the users, then deleted Sales and started from scratch with an access code called salesrep (per the error when I tried to log in as that user with a security code of 1) then I recreated the user access codes copying them from salesrep. Looks like everything is working great now. Don't know if there are other reserved words (other than Admin) for access codes but it would be nice if they were documented. Tim |
Title: Re: error during menu creation Post by cathyh on 02/28/06 at 13:42:53 I have a access group called sales and it hasn't caused any problems. Could be your sales code was corrupted somehow and redoing it solved your problem. |
Title: Re: error during menu creation Post by Lynn Pantic on 02/28/06 at 14:13:16 "Reserved" access codes are ADMIN, USER, POWERUSER, CUSTOMER, VENDOR and SALESREP. You can create them if they do not already exist but once they exist, you can not delete them. |
Title: Re: error during menu creation Post by timgolds on 03/01/06 at 08:29:36 Thanks Lynn, I'll create those so I don't mess them up later! I'm glad you didn't add IDIOT, FLOOR, SHOP or MFG DUDES. There is a bug some place though. Before I deleted SALES I noticed I couldn't add PIA, PIB, PIC, and a couple of others back to the access code. However, I still can with others. Also is there any relationship at all between TAS-G and PS-B or is one for EVo and one for DBA? Thanks for the help, Tim |
Title: Re: error during menu creation Post by Lynn Pantic on 03/01/06 at 12:40:26 PS-A is used for both Evo and DBA for the user login ID, Password and start-up company. But the actual access as to what you can do once you log in is completely separate - PS-B & PS-C for Classic and TAS-G for Evo. |
