TRAVELER NOTES APPEAR ON SCREEN, BUT ARE CUT OFF WHEN TRAVELER IS PRINTED. PLEASE HELP!

John,

Been there done that! Kind of drives ya up the wall hu?! Your using an old RTM file. The new WOs have a larger array for printing notes. The old RTMs don't know the new field definitions.

What ever RTM you are using, Look for a RTX with the same prefix. that is the new one that will fix the problem.

We tried what tim said to do but it didn't change how the traveler printed. What are we missing?

Did you make any changes to the RTM?

The editor can really mess things up if you haven't used it before or not for awhile. (I can really mess things up when I haven't been in it for a couple of months!)

Things like changing "Parent Width", Shift relative to", "Auto Size and Font settings can really screw things up.

Feedback I got from johng was that they were not even using the RTM (text format) so all the advice we were giving him regarding RTM was useless until he printed graphically using the RTM. bobs0376 - are you using text or grapical format? If you are using text, try graphical - it is MUCH better looking and you can modify it.

Yes, we are printing in graphics mode. Made no changes to T6WOC3.RTX other than change the extension from RTX to RTM.

Still will not print notes that are visible on the screen.

What is the ISTS Enhancement date of WOC that you are using?

Perhaps it is a problem with the printer. Try printing on a different printer. Also, try emailing the traveler to yourself to see if it is complete.

Emailed it to ourselves and comments do not show in the email.

Any other suggestions?

bobs0376,

Look closely at the settings when printing. Are you using the short or long form? Do you have a "Y" in all the print boxes?

I print the long form and print everything except Bill of materials and Bin Locations. Also, look under SD-B and check your print settings.

Let us know what your settings are.

Ok, in SD-b, everything is set to yes except short form.

when printing traveler, everything is yes but print short form

Still no comments.
