When you enter a WO for a negative backflush and the item is serialized, it adds the serial to the available list. It should remove the unit from the list. The serial gets added when you run a SO credit. If you do the credit first than the WO backflush, you can't even use the same serial because it says it already exists.

This has been fixed in WOI and should be in the latest update.
