Title: WO-A Post by Vman on 03/07/06 at 07:00:31 If you enter a item number that doesn't exsist, select NO to the "do you want to add it" prompt and then try to change the item number, you get a "cannot change item number on WO that has been saved" message. You have to exit out of the incomplete WO and start over. Due to my old age and fading faculties, I sometimes enter a item number incorrectly. As you have not completed entering the WO, you should be able to go back and edit the item number. |
Title: Re: WO-A Post by JNAPIER on 03/07/06 at 07:53:12 A workaround is to delete the description than the part #, arrow back up to the location. Than you can go down and enter a correct part #. John |
Title: Re: WO-A Post by Vman on 03/07/06 at 09:12:40 As the bad part number is not in the system, there in no description. Therefore, when you answer no to the "add item number" prompt, you are back on the item block on the screen. |
Title: Re: WO-A Post by Lynn Pantic on 03/07/06 at 09:26:53 Will get it fixed... |

Than just delete the bad part #, move up to location than back down. It will than except a new part #. John |

It works here. I have to use it often with my FAT fingers. I say no to adding a new part#, the bad # is highlighted and I hit the delete key. Up one down one, good to go. Maybe because I have multiple locations? John |
Title: Re: WO-A Post by Vman on 03/07/06 at 13:45:07 If you up-arrow all the way to the Work Order field, then it works, as the Part Number field is cleared. Still kinda kludgy. |
