Hello,
We are using TAS EVO version 2005.1. We are trying to
obsolete parts which in the past were linked to a physical
inventory or sales order. All physical inventories have been
purged and the sales orders are closed. However, we
still get a message on these parts that they are in a p.i.
or on a sale order. Is there a way to obsolete these
parts so sales can not put them on a sales order.
We do not have any parts in inventory.

hi, i'm noting the latest updates from May 8, i.e. the New Inventory Status which includes Status "O" for Obsolete...where can I enter this? it's not an option under Acct Status under Part Type (where O stands for Feature) nor under account status -

where do I put in this inventory status?

hi, not sure of etiquette in replying to my own msgs...but noticed now that I can put in the acct status depending on the part type.

i would like to put the acct status in for ANY part type, but at least I understand it now.

The Status is independent of the type. Status is entered in IN-B under Active?
