Title: Purge inactive user sessions
Post by vecsector on 03/20/06 at 05:12:32

We recently updated to the 2006.1 02/28/06 version, and now have the ability to see current user sessions.

We're seeing several user sessions that are no longer active.  We're rebooted the PCs and the sessions still show active.

How do you purge/disconnect the sessions in the 'USERS'  window?

I am working on a solution, as well as expanding the auditing to all programs.  For now the only way is to INIT the file.. The Users file is ISLOG.Bxx. When a user logs in to Evo it gets an entery. When a user closes Evo it erases that entry. If you End Task Evo or it hangs and you reboot, then you will get Orphaned records in the file.. I am looking to see if there is a way I can auto clean out these records...

Would you mind pasting a quick 'howto' so I can be sure we do it correctly?   :)

The newest version of the Evo Menu has it built in. It removes users that have been on for 1 day or older.. We will be releasing this version soon.

:)
