Title: Short Cut for printing in SO-A and SO-B
Post by Lionesss on 03/21/06 at 12:30:34

I am the order entry specialist at Andrew Pearson, and I am enquiring on a shortcut key for printing sales orders in Evo. For example, in DBA, SO-A & SO-B you can hit L for list, and P to print. Is this feature available in Evo, or already programmed? If so, I would like to know what the short cut is. This will save me time in printing versus having to use the mouse all the time.

Thanks,

Crystal

System Manager TAS-G. Edit the user you want. On the SO edit lines go to the fast select and choose CTL+ and use the alpha char you want. Save exit EVO and log back in. It will than work.

We went to this screen to set it up. It is still not working. We chose in so-a  (ctrl+v) to preview, and so-b (ctrl+p) for print. Is there an option to set up for both in the screen? Do we have all the steps listed below?

Thanks,

Lionesss

What I found is that the fast select that you enter in the menu selects the program not the result.  In other words if I set up CNTL P  as the fast select on the SO-B program line when I use it it brings up the SO-B program.   I originally thought that if I was in SO-B and highlighting the SO I wanted to print, if I hit CNTL P it would print it.
I have never used the shortcut keys so I don't know how they acted in the older versions.
