Hi,
I'm still on old dBA payroll. Was wondering if a payroll advance should be handled thru accounts payable or payroll?

We use A/P as a loan and they pay it back. I don't like using payroll because of the extra tax deposit it creates, we are a 3 day depositer.

We issue advances via the AP module then use PR to recoup the said amount per paycheck. (of course this is an after tax deduction). Just don't transfer your payroll liability for that account in PR-H and you'll be good to go.
