Title: Emailing Invoices, statments etc from EVO-ERP
Post by karjon on 04/11/06 at 04:47:50

We want to be able to email customer statements and invoices from EVO-ErP on occasion.  What changes if any to we have to make program to do this.

Currently the path at the bottom of the email window does not seem to be correct.  Appears that the PDF is not being created.

Do we have to change the print formats for these documents in order to do this?

If you have setup TAS-K with your POP3 and SMTP settings your E-Mail should work. The default location for the PDF file to get written to C:\ISTS\DEFAULT is OK as long as that folder exists. No special print formats or anything. Does it say that it can't create the PDF?

Check to see that that file name exists and that you have full rights to the file I.E. read write. Make certain that in TAS-K the path name matches the name of the folder exactly.

Reading someone elses query about email problems
the answer they got was that their were two setups that had to be done on the work station
TAS-C which i have done and TAS-K which I had not done.  According to Tim who answered this query all you do in TAS-K is click save and a template is created.

I did that earlier today.

Taking your advise I went into the ISTS file and checked the permission and I appear to have full control.  I looked in the PDF folder and there were PDF's in their for all the invoices I have tried prior to Clicking Save inthe TAS-K  Now however any I try to create since I clicked the save in TAS-K are not there and I get the error unable to open PDF   It there some way to turn off this template.

Also, does anyone know how to set this up when using Microsoft Exchange?
