Title: WO-B, NO 'S' OPTION, ONLY FIRMED AND RELEASED Post by PROBES on 04/14/06 at 08:10:23 hello all, Occasionally we enter sales orders for items with multiple ship dates that are then converted to multiple corresponding work orders. The default work order staus is 'F' so we are driven to purchase raw materials. Most of the time this works fine because we are very thorough in checking to make sure all of the bom/routing data is correct, but sometimes we goof the entry or our customers decide to change the product after they have approved the samples (lovely) and need to update the work order boms/routings. Currently I find the easiest way to do this is to change the work order status to 'S' (which releases the master bom/routing information), update my information and then change the status back to 'F'. Problem is thier is no way to mass change work order status to 'S'. You can use WO-B to change from 'F' or 'R', but no 'S'. (for consecutive WO suffixes) Is thier either: A) an easier way to accomplish this with the same end result or B) a way to mass change work order status to 'S'? Thanks for the help. -Mike
