I have searched thru this database and would like to know if anyone has a simple step by step instruction to setup a win xp laptop peer to peer with a win xp desktop that is serving as the main entry/server.

WIN XP is no different than any other Windows platform. To move an existing DBA or Evo-ERP installation to a new server, you need to install Pervasive to the new server, either from the DBA CD or the Pervasive Web download (depending on the Pervasive Version) and then copy the DBAMFG folder and all subfolders from the old to the new server. You will need your original Pervasive User Count license key.

Share the DBAMFG folder and subfolders with full rights.

For DBA, run the DBAMFG\WorkStation Setup\SETUP.EXE to get the desktop icon and other necessary files installed. For Evo-ERP, browse to the DBAMFG\EVOERP.EXE and double click to run the workstation setup.
