I just tried out the logo image change and it not only didn't work, it has the desktop locked up. Now I have an hourglass and can't get back into the program to change it back.

The error says "Invalid GIF Signature", but the image was a JPEG.

Hmm. As it turns out, this change logo program just takes whatever you give it for image input and saves it as EvoERP.gif, even if it is not a GIF to begin with. What an odd little program.

I have the very same problem. Is there a way to fix it without re-loading the entire program? It causes Evo-ERP to be inoperable.

I see how you did me, I am such a sucker ;D. After reading the post, of coarse I had to try it for myself. I did notice that you can still navigate and use EVO with the little hour glass but you can't reaccess the change logo program. If you close EVO out, it will leave many tp7runtime processes running. Probably as many as the times I tried to change the logo again. You will need to stop all the tp7runtime processes before you will be able to reopen EVO. As far as a fix, Well I am working on it 8)

A quick fix is to rename a .gif file you have to evoerp and copy back to your server dba files. I tried to convert my existing .bmp or .jpeg files to a gif. The conversion worked, but it still has the error. I have some cool animated gifs that work great. I guess that it just doesnt like any other file formats?

Yeah, the code in the Evo Menu tries to load Evoerp.gif it is hardcoded. So the only file you can put in there is a GIF file. I may change it some day but for now it is just GIF files.

Its evologo.RWN. Run it from the TAS-A menu.
