Title: Users Button under Tools
Post by cathyh on 06/12/06 at 11:17:01

I don't think the users  list is working properly.  I have one user that is listed 16 times for the same program, and one user that is listed who has shut down her computer and gone home! As a matter of fact, it says I am entering a SO and I am not.
I like the company code though!

Cathy, you need to update to the 5/8/06 version, which contains a fix for the problems you are listing, and also some enhancements like the log clears out correctly, you can send messages directly to users to tell them to log out of EvoERP if you need to, and other admin enhancements.

I just updated and I had the same issues you listed and now I don't any longer!

Well, I downloaded the update on Saturday 6/10 and installed it.  Maybe the current fix did not get included in the current update?

Yeah, I have the 5/8 update that I downloaded on 5/29 and see similar activity.

Since our 5-8 update, the users update properly and only have one entry per user. They log out and they are off the list. The message feature is great.

Cathy / David / anyone else having this issue..

Try logging into DBA Classic and switch to the B company.
Make sure all users are out of the system. then go to UT-A and run DBAIF. when prompted for a file name, type in ISLOG

This will Initilize the users file. I hope that it is just old stuff in the file and this should clean it out.

Now you can get everybody back in..

Note: if users are a mix of Classic and Evo I'm not sure what happens if a Classic user opens SOA and hangs it.. It may not get cleared until the next day.

SubNote:  If you login as User ADMIN, the User Screen has a button to clean out invalid records.
