When making changes on items on sales orders, the work orders,when reprinted,do not make the appropriate changes. It seems that one must cancel the original order and then reenter a new sales order to get the changes to print on the work order. Any quick remedy for this?

What type of changes are you making? If you are changing the part then yes, I believe you have to cancel the work order and redo it. If you are changing the date then you can go into the SD-Q defaults and say yes to "allow SO dates to update WO's"

most of the changes i make are related to the BOM and routing of the work order, so i find it useful to just change the work order status to 's', make my bom / routing changes, and then change the status back to 'f' or 'r'. this only works as long as labor / materials were not issued to the work order. when that happens i believe a cancel + reconvert is the way to go.
