I've noticed in many cases we are getting extra records saved to the WORECV file. Usually the first is correct for the actual transaction. Then there is, in many but not all cases, another record with a quantity of 1 and a seeming random avg cost. In one case during my testing I ended up with 3 records; the actual and 2 more for qty=1. I have tested a few theories but have nothing conclusive. Has anyone else seen this behavior? know the cause? I have over 1000 of these records in the file.

They are probably WIP Variance postings that occur when closing a work order with residual costs. Might also be FP Scrap postings. You can use JC-Q to confirm.
