Title: Mousing Irregularities Post by deburr on 09/14/06 at 07:44:46 Why do some entry screens allow you to mouse from one field to another without error, and some screens produce errors or don't allow navigation with the mouse at all? IN-B mousing works PO-A No mousing in header screen AP-A Mousing produces error "access violation...00402DCF...'tp7runtime.exe........" There doesn't seem to be any uniform practice in how the programs were made. Just curious if some day all will work the same. |
Title: Re: Mousing Irregularities Post by JNAPIER on 09/14/06 at 08:18:35 I have been Beta testing the new version of IN-B. All fiieds are mousable. They are working on converting a bunch of the programs to this format. I believe they are going to release them at the next symposium. John |
Title: Re: Mousing Irregularities Post by Lynn Pantic on 09/14/06 at 16:24:33 John is correct, we are working on it. Unfortunately, it is something that has to be done program by program, there is no magic button we can push. At the Symposium, we plan to release fully GUI versions of IN-A, IN-B, AP-A, AR-A and WO-A with PO-A and SO-A next on the list and more to follow. |
Title: Re: Mousing Irregularities Post by kkmfg on 10/03/06 at 11:05:29 Cool... I will be very happy when these new versions are out. The sales people here are quite confused as to why they cannot use the mouse for modifying customers and sales orders. It's kind of slow trying to key through 15 fields to get to the one you want. |
