Title: Web site data Post by wrf46 on 10/18/06 at 12:00:03 Using Crystal Reports to print a report from the Customer table, I can setup the report to print the Customer Code, Customer name, phone numbers and contacts but can not figure out how to add the Web site field to the report. All info for the report is selected from BKARCUST file. What table holds the data for the Web Site? Thanks Bill |
Title: Re: Web site data Post by JNAPIER on 10/18/06 at 12:55:57 It is probably buried in a text string. They have had to do this in some cases due to not having an available field in the file set. Maybe? John |
Title: Re: Web site data Post by David Waldmann on 10/19/06 at 07:02:37 I changed a web address and the only files that changed were BKARCUST and BKARDESC. Neither one of them seem to have the data. Guess we'll have to have the programmers tell us... |
Title: Re: Web site data Post by dameng on 10/20/06 at 05:57:11 It is in the BKARDESC file as you found out. the web address is in BK_DESC_NOTES, however, they use the BK_DESC_CODE to list the customer code joined with a prefix of WEB. i.e. if my customer code is AJAX for ACME JAXSON CONTROLS.... then the BK_DESC_CODE field will have WEBAJAX with the BK_DESC_NOTES holding the www.ajax.com |
