Title: Reverting some information Post by cmsk on 11/06/06 at 07:57:50 Hi there, Question, in my attempts to get some reorder information on some items for MRP usage, I used the Calculate function on a group of purchased items. Only problem is, I got rid of some items that already had "good info" and also gave levels and amounts to items that I wanted to remain at zero... Learning curves are always fun... Anyway, is there a way to get back this information, say from a specific file that I could restore, w/o messing up everything else that's been done since then? If so, what's the file name and what should I look for? I really only need the reorder amounts and levels. ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

I just need to revert the reorder information on items to back before I used the calculate function in MR-D, but I want to make sure I don't loose any important new information since. Which file is this information in and can I just restore that file? |
Title: Re: Reverting some information Post by Lynn_Pantic on 11/09/06 at 10:11:47 It is stored in MTICMSTR but so are other things related to order status. So long as you have not created new part numbers, you could restore the file and then rebuild stock status. |

Title: Re: Reverting some information Post by cmsk on 11/10/06 at 05:08:01 ... Or not ??? We have in fact created some new items, but no biggie. I tried restoring the file and nothing apparent seemed to change. I went back about three weeks and all of the current reorder info remained, along with the item numbers that we created over the past few days. Does something else need to be done after the file is restored? You mentioned "rebuild stock status," but from what I know that's only during print "Reorder Report." I'm obviously missing something, so any further specific input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again. |
