I made a major mistake this morning:
I copied an old backup of run files etc into my DBA folder.
Now I get a message that "WBTRV32.dll" cannot be found and DBA will not open.
Any idea where that file needs to be? I found several on my work station, but not on the server in the DBA folder.

If it helps I did a search for WBTRV32.dll on my server and this is the path it returned.

K:\Pervasive\WinRoot\PVSW\Bin

Where K:\ is the drive on the server where our DBA info is kept.

It said it was an Application Extension and that it was a Btrieve Compatibility DLL.

Can't you just restore from a backup? If you overwrote too many Pervasive files, you may have to re-install Pervasive to make it right.

Thanks for the help.
I did restore from yesterday's backup, but this file was missing. I did solve the problem by doing a search and a copy and paste

WBTRV32.DLL should NOT be in the DBAMFG folder. It belongs in the C:\PVSW\BIN folder on each workstation and is different fo rdifferent versions of Pervasive so you need to be sure you have hte right one.
