We are getting a message that says "Key Set Up Error" when trying to release any of our sales orders. We need to get this fixed ASAP so we can get our orders out before tomorrow. Can anyone help??????? ???

Releasing them from where?
What version?
Have you tried exiting and restarting DBA?
What happens if you enter an SO with "Ready to Release?" set to "Y"?

We have version dba 2004.1. If I go to just release sales orders and type in a sales order number, it comes up with that error message. Also, we can't enter any sales orders. We are able to get through the header screen, but once you get to the line items an error message pops up "Invalid pointer operation". This just happened all of a sudden yesterday. Any ideas??

It sounds highly irregular if nothing has changed. If you haven't already, I would reboot both the server and workstation. Other than that I have no ideas.

I've gotten the "invalid pointer" error message before... it always happens whenever I try to navigate parts of evo with my mouse, that were designed to be used exclusively with the keyboard. My advice is to try entering through from the header screen instead of using the mouse to get there.
