We have major problems!!!!!!!! Just starting yesterday our system went crazy. We keep getting error messages in the sales and customer areas. Now it says that the BKSYMSTR file has not been set up or could not be found. I need step by step instructions on what to do to fix this fast. We do not have a "computer/MIS" person who works here. So it's up to me to figure it out. We have orders that need to get entered and we are at a stand still right now. Help us!!!!!!!

Do you have backups (daily I'd recommend) of your DBAMFG or Default (if that's where your live data is) folders?

If so, can you restore to the past when things were working fine?

I would recommend not to overwrite your current data, but copy it elsewhere and then restore.

Of course, you would have to re-enter any transactions done since your last back-up.
