Title: PS-G Maintain Menu Access Records Post by LeAnn Cucchiara on 02/03/07 at 16:42:53 1st issue: Somehow I deleted a Menu Level "1" item in System Manager - SM-J-File Maintenance Programs from someone's menu & it is not listed on the right side. I have only the menu level 2 item (SM-J-L Change Item Numbers) on the left side. Consequently, it does not show up where it should on the menu. It actually shows up if you mouse over SA-N on the menu. You don't even have to click on SA-N just move the mouse over it & it opens the window & the SM-J-L item goes away. Really strange, but I assume I caused it with doing away with the Level 1 menu item. So, long explanation - but how do I get this Level 1 item back on the right side in order to select it? 2nd Issue: I do not have "ADMIN" listed in the Access Code - should there be one? I don't think I have deleted it, at least not intentionally anyway. Is this an issue? 3rd Issue: In PS-A I have selected the start-up menu to be Sales for 1 user, Items for another & System Mgr for a third one but when you log-on all 3 open to MFG menu. All 3 users have "A" Security Level in PS-A but no user defined menu assigned in PS-G. Do you have to have a user defined menu if you want to control the start-up menu? Any suggestions? Thanks, LeAnn |

Add a new line at the bottom of the left pane by arrowing down one place after reaching the bottom of the list. Press <Enter> to make the cell editable. Use the following layout: Menu Level: 1 Caption: &J - File Maintenance Programs Then move it up to where it belongs by clicking and dragging (click the block to the left of the row). Nope. It's invisible and un-editable. |
