Our company runs both Evo and DBA. End of October we setup a test company in Evo and it was working well for us. We then created a test company in DBA. Now, when I try and open the Evo test company I get an error message "The system default General Ledger Clearing Account has not been specified. Please use the "GL Default" mineu selection to specify this GL account before using this program"

I'm hoping this is just a duh moment for me, but could DBA have overridden the Evo test company?

If you use both, ALWAYS create and delete companies in Evo, not Classic. If you created it in Evo, then both will know about it. If you create it in Classic, Evo will not know about it untill the next update is installed, then they will be synchronized.

But creating in Classic should do nothing to the one that already existed.
