Title: AP-A SINCE UPDATE OF COURSE

CANNOT ENTER GL DESCRIPTION WHEN ENTERING A NEW VENDOR.  WHEN YOU DO A SEARCH, THE TAX GROUPS COME UP.

That is GL Department, not description, and yes that is a bug. I am fixing it now.  As for the Terms, when you go to the terms field try doing a lookup, click on the Magnify Glass button.. That will convert the Existing DBA terms to a new table called ISTERMS.  The Evo Lookup uses that file. There will be a patch for T7APA soon.

Note: upper case messages signify that you are yelling. (now maybe you knew that and it was intentional..) just letting you know.

Yes, that was exactly my intention.

Sorry for using the word description instead of department.  We have been using EVO well over a year now, so as far as doing the magnifying glass look up.  Already did that, doesn't work.

I see a lot of posting of issues and complaints by a lot of people and hardly any answers or fixes.

I do not know about anyone else, but this update is bringing our production way down.

I will never again be so quick to update for at least 45 to 60 days.

I installed all the patches yesterday and they reaked havok with our balance sheet Liability Accounts.  A/P is now a negative.  This was after I went in to enter a new GL account, and the program automatically went to a utility where I had to reset period dates for the last 6 years.  Perhaps there were some less-than-kosher postings in the past that were made right (I would like to think!), but it's still a problem and has thrown our year end financials out of wack.

Ok, I just ran UT-K-D again (must have done it wrong the first time) and the GL accounts are back to normal.  YIPPIE!!!!! ;D

We are still having problems with the AP-A terms.  We get an error message & system lockup when we do a lookup.

Access violation at address 009B52A7 in Module tp7runtime.exe.

I tried reloading all of the patches to see if that would help.  It has not helped.
Thanks,

Still cannot load terms into account payable vendors.  System locks up and we have to end task.  Cannot do a lookup on the terms table.
Program loads as T7APA.rwn and is dated 7/11/07.

What can we check to clear this up?

check in your DBA data folders (B company is called Default\, 99 company is called testdata\, all other companies are called by the two alphanumeric characters used for the company ie  20\ ) look fir a file called ISTERMS.B** That is the files that has the terms in it. If this file does not exist, then use UT-A and enter DBAIF.run when it asks you for a file name type in ISTERMS. This will initialize the file, then try APA or ARA again and let me know what you get.

Allen,
The file exists in the default company and my main company (not the default).  What would you like me to do now?
