Title: Cannot Access "Maintain Database" Post by Clem on 02/28/07 at 05:36:00 We are running DBA Classic on an 8-computer workgroup. Last month I moved DBA to a new central workstation. DBA has been working fine since that time, except for the following: Today I tried to access Maintain Database, from the Central Workstation, for the first time since I moved DBA and I get the following error message when trying to open a file in the database: Btrive Status 11 – The specified filename is invalid. Key=[C:\DBAMFGDEFAULT\BKAPDESC.B] DBIERR_INVALIDFILENAME. I get a similar error message for all the files in the database. I did not have that problem on the previous Central Workstation. I checked the Troubleshooting Tips for Error 11 and nothing seems to help me there. I did run Gateway.exe when I moved DBA to the new central workstation, which created the required ~PVSW~.loc file . Also I noticed that the Training Company name shows “License Expired – See AD-A [99]”. I have the Default Company and another Company that we created that show the proper title. Also when I look at the License Administrator screen, it shows the proper number of licenses and the expiration date as 12/31/2030, which is what is it supposed to be. I have the correct “Current Fiscal Year Start Date” in our two companies but not in the training database. Any hint as to how I could correct that without having to reinstall DBA completely would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance for your help Clem |
