We have multiple departments that do very specific things and all the COGS were being put into one "bucket" account and that makes it very difficult to get an accurate picture of each departments actual COGS. So I entered in new GL#'s and went thru and changed the item classes to point to the GL#'s. Is there any way to make DBA go back and recalculate the COGS into the new accounts? I tried it in my test company thru UT-K-D but it didn't work. Any suggestions or do I just live with it? [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]

If the different departments have always had different Classes but shared the GL, then you could use IN-N-A to run reports by class and make Journal entries but the posting that already happened can't be automatically changed.
