Is there a report that exists that will show all customers that have a discount code? We are needing a list of everyone who gets a built in discount off our product when we bill them. I know we put discount codes in on their accounts so I thought maybe there was a report somewhere that I could run that would show all the customers that had a code and what the percent was. Anyone have any ideas?

Our new owners are wanting a listing of each customer and what discounts they receive. So I need to somehow get those discount codes listed with the customers.

How do I run the report straight from BKARCUST? Our person who created our old reports no longer works with us, so I am trying to learn how to do everything in DBA. Can you help me out?

I think she was referring to the ability to export data with DE-A. That would give you a text file with the information you need. But you might need something like Microsoft Access or Crystal Reports to turn that raw data into something you could actually read. DE-A allows one to export only the fields they need so you could constrain it to just output what you are looking for. Then it might be readable enough but if not it really will be Access or CR to the rescue.

I was hoping that wasn't the answer. Our Access is totally messed up!! Ever since we switched to a new company, we haven't been able to get it working correctly. We get ODBC errors. We've tried the white paper steps to get that fixed, but we kind of gave up on that project for a while.

Well, on the positive side, if you use DE-A you'd be inputting a textfile into Access and would not be using ODBC so that shouldn't affect you.

Thanks so much for the help. I was able to figure out how to get that BKARCUST text file out of our Access program. Now that I know how to do that, we can run some other reports we need even though the other part of Access isn't working. Thanks again! ;D
