If I use MR-D to set some MRP parameters and select Individual Parts, will the parameters also be applied to items in that parts BOM?

In other words, if the individual part is the main item and that item has a BOM, will MR-D include all the items under that main part? -- I REALLY hope so!!

Okay, how about this. If I set reorder points for the main part, and the BOM items are set to zero reorder amount and level, will running MRP, MR-G on the main part, generate requirements for all of the BOM parts? Seems like that would make sense.

Yes, that's how it should work. It's normal to at least enter reorder amounts and for all items so they can be made or bought in economical quanitities.
