Working out how to deploy Data Collection. Anyone know how I can audit edits to Data Collection entries? If I have a supervisor that edits an entry from DC-G I want to have the ability to validate exactly who made that edit and why.

If anyone is aware of where to find the audit data please let me know. The files BKDCPLAB and BKDCTLAB have a "LAB_EXTRA" field but it does not seem to populate any edits to someones time.

If this is not available, how do I request that this program track who is editing the records from DC-A and DC-C

It is not currently available but could be added. Put a post on the Suggestions for Updates section.

An audit trail would be great. We have supervisors manually write on the status report and one "control" person does the editing.

That's the way we do it too - only one person can make corrections.

However - an audit trail would be good. Since mistakes still get made, but the system can't track changes, our data entry person first prints out the "before" data, then prints an "after" report. We therefore have an electronic system that we have to back up with paper! >:(
