Title: Any way to add Reference field to Transactions? Post by gtladmin on 05/22/07 at 13:53:45 In IN -A GUI version, when you look up a part and then drill to inventory transactions, you used to be able to see the info entered into the reference field in IN-C. You can't see that now. Is this a field I can add back into the grid? Finance and Purchasing look at this stuff daily, so they're pretty unhappy about it being "gone". I tried to see if I could add it, but I can't find the field myself. Any help? Thanks, Val |

Title: Re: Any way to add Reference field to Transactions Post by gtladmin on 05/23/07 at 06:21:19 Thanks, Allen. I brought your message to Purchasing and they had not scrolled all the way through. They were assuming that the Reference would make sense under "Action" and not "Customer/Vendor"--they didn't really look at that column under that assumption--and since they didn't see what the data under Action, told me it wasn't there. What is the Action column, by the way? Also, if they happen to fill out the other reference fields in IN-C, where does that show up in the transactions? Thanks again! Val |
Title: Re: Any way to add Reference field to Transactions Post by NovaZyg on 05/23/07 at 06:47:29 The Action column is the item description, I just changed the title. all the Ref fields will show up in the cust/vend column.. That is how DBA Classic worked, we just moved it over. |
