I have some po's that are showing open on PO Rec'd not Invoiced report, that should be closed. When I go to PO-K to close this purchase order, I get a message stating "did not find this po". How can I clear this from my report?

The May 07 and later update (which I believe you have) has a utility to fix POs that are "closed but not closed" and clean them off the RNI report.

UT-A, POKFIX and RNIFIX. In Evo, you need the ".RUN" at the end of the program names.
