Is there a field I can pull today's date from to put on a custom RTM. I am using the sales order info so the only choices I see are entered date, est ship or customer due date. I want today's or the current date as in the date it is printed. Thanks for the help

Go into the report editor and bring up your RTM.

Add a system variable (icon looks like a clock with a 1 2 under it)
in the properties there is a VarType (by default it is set to date) but you can have date and time, page no, page no x of n, etc..

Remember to always to go to the main tab/page first and then save.

Try that.
