We have a inventory part that is set up as a Make From as we send it out to be painted and treat it as a new part. We receive the part back into the new part number thru PO receipt at the cost charged for painting, but for some reason the average and last price changed to an amount that is no where close to the cost of the item, any ideas as to what could cause this cost to be incorrect?

Sounds like something recently corrected. If you are not yet on the 3/27/08 update, you should install it. If you are on the 3/27/08 update, go to www.istechsupport.com/status.php and make sure you have the latest patches.
