Title: another RTM question Post by cathyh on 06/11/08 at 09:31:39 I would like to have column headings on the custom statement show the year as well as the month or month range. So instead of "MAY" it would say "MAY 2008" or "May 08". An alternative to that would be to put the current year in the report header. I would just like to see the "current" year somewhere on the report (besides the print date) for future reference. How could I accomplish that? Also, it would be nice if negative percentages showed as negative not positive! |
Title: Re: another RTM question Post by gtladmin on 06/12/08 at 10:07:08 Hi Cathy, I remember adding a field to one of my RTMs that would show the current date the form was printed--if I look at the RTM, I have a label (text) field, then I have a system variable inserted that I have set to Date. In the RTM editor, the 5th icon from the left is system variable, once you select that, you will see a drop down box up at the top and you can choose from several different variables like Date, DateTime, Print DateTime, etc. Try that? Title: Re: another RTM question Post by cathyh on 06/12/08 at 10:26:19 Thanks for answering Val. I do have that system variable showing and I have tried to convince the accounting person printing these that the print date shows the year but she would like it to be in the column. She is wondering about one month out of the year (January) when we have not done the year end routine and she is printing December and year to date etc for 2008. The print date will say 2009 and the current year will be 2008--- !! |
