Title: IN-A inconsistency? Post by NTMSTR on 07/11/08 at 09:57:02 Got an inconsistency I'd see if anyone had any insight on... We have an item that there are a qty of 2 on open sales order, but under IN-A, it shows none on sales order under the same part number? The other items on the same SO show under IN-A, just the 1st line of the order is missing. The lines appear to be entered the same way, the part number in question is set up the same way as the others? How can this happen? What other open sales orders is our MFG missing by looking up items and planning using IN-A? Thanks and a little concerned, Nick EVO ERP IS Tech Support Update 3/27/08 |
Title: Re: IN-A inconsistency? Post by GasGiant on 07/11/08 at 10:46:33 The first line still has a quantity left to be shipped? I've not seen that before. We have our IN-A screen set to recalculate each time. What is your SD-H setting for record locking and stock status? |
Title: Re: IN-A inconsistency? Post by NTMSTR on 07/11/08 at 11:22:10 None of the order has shipped yet, all of the lines are still open. Our SD-H is set as follows: Disable Record locking and stock status updates in IN-A Inventory Inquiry N Nick |
Title: Re: IN-A inconsistency? Post by GasGiant on 07/11/08 at 11:57:21 When you say that IN-A show "none" on a sales order, is that just in the IN-A screen, or does that also include when you click on the SO button? Does the on SO or on BO show up when you look at the locations with the locations button? |
Title: Re: IN-A inconsistency? Post by NTMSTR on 07/11/08 at 12:23:20 IN-A Screen shows On Sales Order 0.00. When you select the SO button, it does show the open order and its details. Hmmmm |
Title: Re: IN-A inconsistency? Post by GasGiant on 07/12/08 at 04:11:33 Then you may have a location problem (the first line is set to a non-inventory location) or an offsetting negative back order (which seems unlikely) or else something went goofy with an older sales order. I'd have to run some queries on your data to find where the goofy-ness is coming from, unfortunately. Maybe Lynn has some insight? |
