I have mentioned this before but didn't see anyone else comment. My inventory notes system is very slow. Sometime takes 12 to 25 seconds to open the window look at, or add a note from a workstation, then just as long to save it. It seems OK on the server/workstation (2-3 seconds.) Is it only my system, or does anyone elses system act the same way? Is there something I can do on the workstations to load the program quicker?

I will be away for then next two days, but when I get back, i will add some time stamp auditing to the notes load to see where it is in the code that you are getting this lag..

Just a thought.. do you have a virus scanner? and is it set to ignore RWN, DFM, and RUN files?

It will be patched into the version before the email broadcast with the password goes out. It will also be made available as a patch for those of you who got the advance password and already downloaded.

The speed issue has been resolved but I can no longer save notes. Something was broken in addressing the speed of the program.

Is this latest file in the 8/04 update or will it be a patch? (or was Steve just a special case in some way?)

I believe Lynn put it in a patch, and also in the latest post.

And Steve was special, as in he was the one testing it for me..
