It appears that you can only use this version if Accounting is activated. Does this mean that for us folks that don't use EVO accounting, that we have to stick with the older version of Business Status? :(

I guess we could enable it so you can use it but many of the totals are based on GL postings so if you have accounting turned off, the GL postings don't happen so the information will be inaccurate. Better to activate accounting so the GL entries are created, even if you never acually post them and are doing double work by using something else for accounting. Then you can use the business status but again, the accuracy is suspect. For example, if you aren't doing any AP in Evo, the cash balances won't be accurate.

We're only interested in the manufacturing side (inventory value, sales info). So if the accounting stuff was greyed out, it would be fine. Turning on accounting, setting it up and then doing even the minimal amount of maintenance required to keep it running is more than we would want to do.
