Has anyone ever noticed that when issuing materials with a quantity over 999,999 DBA will issue the material but the units on hand will go to 0 (not negative either - just 0)? Then when you negative issue (cannot unissue as we are on the 9/27/07 update and management refuses to allow another update at this point) the parts are added back into inventory from a base point of 0 not the true negative inventory number that should have been created by issuing the huge quantity. Also, when negative issuing, you cannot negative issue more than -999,999 pieces even though the original issue was greater than 999,999. Any idea why?

We had this happen when accidentally entering lot number in qty issued field! Made a big mess.

You should find out from Lynn if you can just install the WO-G program without doing the whole update. It is vastly improved! But this might still happen -- it must have something to do with allowable field length.
