99.2/Btrieve 6.15/P2P/Files on Win98/10 Users

Want to:
1. Run from a WinXP SP3/P2P eventually
2. Run 2002.4 (last received version) with pervasive engine
3. Setup and get system working on the WinXP as standalone first to eliminate downtime and not interrupt current users.

Is the above feasible, given the data conversion that needs to take place?

Guidance and recommendations most appreciated.

Good news - no data conversion needed. Just copy what you have when the time comes. You can rebuild the files to the new format but it is not required.

Bad News - you have to purchase the current Pervasive (V10.10) client/server version because you can no longer buy PSQL 2000 and the PSQL 10 Workgroup is only available for 5 or fewer users. Client/server PSQL 10 will run on a WIN XP machine as the "Server"; a true server is not required.
