Title: User Menus
Post by Kelloggs on 01/13/09 at 11:19:54

I need to document what user have access to what modules/programs/reports.

Is the menu system store in a table? what's the name of that table?

If not is there any other way to document it?

Regards,

John

John,

The menus ( I inherited this from the TAS 7 creator) are in memo fields in BKMENUSU.DBF/DBT.

There were attempts I made to do reports on User Menus (PS-E and PS-F) but if I remember correctly there was some issues with those...

 Worth a try anyway.

;)

So, if I restore BKMENUSU.DBF & BKMENUSU.DBT I will have my non "update to the latest program" menus back? I didn't realize it was going to just go ahead and do all the menus on all the users...

Edit: I guess it didn't change everyone's, just the user I was in. Still would be nice if I could just restore it...

Note also that PS-E and PS-F will give you print outs by User or by Program, respectively.
