Is there a way to setup multiple owners under one Retained Earnings account. Basically when I print statements I want to be able to choose to print the total retained earnings or choose to show the break out between owners with out having to create a custom statement? I have seen this in other accounting programs, but not DBA - so far.

Not automatically but it can be done with Journal Entries. I would create new accounts that are the same account as Retained Earnings but a different department for each owner. Normal Retained Earnings will post to the main account (no department) and then you can Journal it into the subaccounts. you can then print a Balance Sheet either with or without Department Detail.
