I have entered all weekends and holidays on the shop calendar, but when I enter sales orders it does not warn or prevent me for using these dates. Is there some default I must turn on? It works for POs but not SOs or WOs.

I believe it only works for PO and WO. I would like it to work for Sales Orders though. Periodically I have the shipping dept laugh at me for scheduling something to ship on Xmas for example.

PO and WO dates are calculated based on the lead time and shop calendar and if the completion or receipt date falls on a non-work day on the calendar, the program advances to the next valid date. SO Ship dates on the other hand are not calculated, they are manually entered so it is up to you to enter reasonable dates.
