How long should this take? I started it this morning and it's been running for 7 hours. It looks like it might be in an endless loop. The print line screen is running and it starts a 1, goes up to 65,523 and then starts over. Should I stop it? What damage will it do if I do stop it? Evo seems to be running just fine even with this utility running.

The register only goes to 65,524 so it has to start over. It is not a program loop, so don't stop it.

IF you have a lot of Inventory Item Records, you might want to run SM-J-C on the server instead of a workstation. it should also be ran anyhow with users not in EVO or DBA. what's a lot of records? mmmmm, system dependant. you see that print line resetting itself because the program in working with pervasive is creating a temporary file to cache the results as well as it's build to evaluate the entire process.
