Everytime we run this report, even after it was run a day before, we get pages and pages of reconciliation items.

Please let me know what might be causing all this discrepancies in our inventory

How we can avoid.

Do we need to worry about it? :-[
By the way, we have done all the updates and our system is as current as it an possibly be.

I have over 900 items where a manual calculation of the records in INVTXN do not correspond to the OH , Although this is not the same question as yours, I believe it is related.

I assume that SM-J-C will use INVTXN to adjust the level OH. But when there is a record missing in INVTXN, (Such as one in BKAHPOL which is missing from INVTXN) then I cannot trust either because I don''t know what's going on.

So I am planning to record the OH value for all parts, use some feature? to reconcile them, then compare the new values to the old and cyclecount all that changed.

If it isn't working for you, what confidence can I have?

When you run SM-J-C are you changing the default "Use report only mode" to 'N'?

It appears my plan is backward. I should run the report only then figure out which way to force the data by cycle counting before the change?

Lesley - what are the discrepancies you are seeing? There are many different kinds; some more important than others.
