Nancy said we have a part #, called MISC, which is an N part, and has always had no costs. However, in March, all of a sudden, there is a cost for all the misc parts we sold.

She wants to know what could have caused this to start happening now....?

She did say it seems to have started showing a cost with an invoice we did on a Sales order to a customer, with all MISC parts. From that time on, we have had costs to this part.

Any ideas?

Did anyboody ever use the same MISC part on a PO and receive it? Check transaction history. Something put one into stock at a cost and that is where it picked it up.

I think that's how this might have come up, since I was cc'd on an email to one of our purchasers about not using that part on a purchase order. That's probably it.
