On the BOM Availability - a REALLY useful column to add would be the due dates of items on order - for instance, you do a BM-D for an assembly, you see that 5 of 15 items are on order, but to figure out when you can deliver the assembly, you have to look at each item to see when the PO's are due. Would be nice to see all the info you need on the report.

Parallel item - have noticed that when you have items in QC hold, they don't show up as being on hand, but they are also no longer in the qty on PO column.

Here's what we had Ben (yes, that long ago) make for us, and we've been using it since. I'd really really appreciate if ISTech could duplicate this again. It's indispensable to us.

Notice that it also puts a * next to items for which there aren't enough on hand or on order.
Max which can be built is always zero, since there's a phantom assy (PKG KIT) in the BOM.

I wonder if Lynn would know if this can be added by a user in some way or if it requires programming.

Lynn would know, because she knows everything. It does require programming, which Lynn could get done. We just have to get her to do it...hey Lynn!

What ever DID happen to Ben? A long time ago he did a couple of special things for us and they eventually did find their way into DBA (thanks Lynn), like the Transactions and Usage tabs in IN-A. Please add my vote for implementing Ben's BOM AVAILABILITY report in DBA, as it would be extremely useful to us, too. At one time WAY in the past we asked if a BOM Availability report could be run against the MRP output file, which would result in the same kind of useful information since that file includes all of the information about future PO receipts, etc. We would still be interested in that if it could be done.
