Title: IN-F Slow/Crashing Post by PaulG on 02/14/11 at 11:33:01 When I run IN-F with a "As-Of Date" selected (1/31/11) Evo goes extremely slow or freezes. When I run the same report using the current date it runs correctly. I need to be able to run this program to get our inventory valuation. Any ideas? |
Title: Re: IN-F Slow/Crashing Post by Dave Miller on 02/14/11 at 13:12:14 Works OK here with a 1/31/11 date. |
Title: Re: IN-F Slow/Crashing Post by ddlong on 02/14/11 at 13:20:18 Lynn sent me an IN-F fix last week when I had the same problem. I believe it was a revised Run file. The only problem now is that it only takes my average cost of an item out 2 decimal places and we have many items where we need 4 decimal places in the cost. But it did print without locking up. Title: Re: IN-F Slow/Crashing Post by PaulG on 02/14/11 at 14:17:17 Got the files from Lynn and that fixed it. It is still a lot slower then running the report as of the current date, but it works! Thanks. |
Title: Re: IN-F Slow/Crashing Post by Lynn_Pantic on 02/14/11 at 14:56:52 The reason it is slower is because to run as of a prior date it takes the current inventory and reverses out all the transactions back to the as-of date. Further back you go, the more it has to back out. |
Title: Re: IN-F Slow/Crashing Post by cellis on 03/08/11 at 06:51:42 I'm having this same issue. if I use a date it completely locks up my computer. If I run it w/o a date - no problem. How can I get a *run fix? Thanks. |
Title: Re: IN-F Slow/Crashing Post by PhippsBird on 04/01/11 at 08:57:23 This is also happening for us. It doesn't matter if it was a previous date, it is any date entered that slows/crashes the system. Yesterday, I typed in yesterday's date and it locked up my computer every time I tried to run the report, which was several times. So, I then ran the report today without a date and it worked, yet the grand totals change - apparantly randomly. We ran the report for subtotals and it is the Book Value column which changes. If there is a fix that would allow me to run this report with the date entered and correct totals (all the time), please let me know where to get it. Pattie Phipps & Bird |
