I want to start linking our schematic drawings (usually in PDF format) and Customer BOM (usually XLS or DOC) to our Evo finished goods so when we go to print out the shop traveler, Evo automatically prints out these files.

I'd also like it so if you bring up the Finished Goods, there's a pop-up or a link to open the PDF/XLS files associated with the finished good.

Simple step by steps would be appreciated.

Bump...

Checked out this vid (http://www.istechsupport.com/flash/evolinks.html), but I understand how to enter the Evo Links, I just can't get excel/pdf files to print out when printing the traveler.

Enable Evo Notes System and Evo Links System are both set to Yes.

Need answers to this problem. At this point I'd like it if when you go to Print Traveler Evo will automatically spit out a Evo Linked .PDF file along with the traveler. It would give us an excuse to digitally convert all our Documentation to .PDFs.

Anyone know of a way that when you do an IN-A lookup it'll display in a side window any Evo Links that you can easily open or print from within Evo? Anyone thought to make an option to drag and drop files to create links automatically?

If you have documents linked to the items as Evo links and set Y to print with Traveler they should be printing. Can you email me a screen print of how you have the link set up?

Turns out I had the "Print Linked Documents" set to "P", whatever that means, (I guess Parent?) whenI set it to Yes it correctly spit out an Excel spreadsheet. Going to double check my work, but here's my screen settings, if you have any other comments, feel free.

Hi - Along the same lines...
We need the PDF to not only print with the traveler BUT to print on the BACK of the work order - as one document. But there is More to it then setting the printer to print 2 sided documents...

EVO creates and prints the work order but Adobe opens and prints the PDF - 2 separate documents. Lori said that she knows some EVO users are able to print the WO & PDF as one document and thinks that it is the type of printer or printer software that enables this...
Can anyone out there print from EVO a work order with the PDF as a 2 sided document? Can you offer us a solution or suggestions?

I suppose you could "print" to PDF and then print the resulting PDF as one document. Or is that too simple or too cumbersome.

I think that would still print 2 separate PDFs since Evo is printing one and then calling Adobe to print the other.
